Bates got solo home runs from sophomore first baseman Drew Blicharz (Rutland Vt.) and sophomore rightfielder Jason Coulie (Manchester, N.H.). It was Coulie's eighth of the season, tying Bob Kearney '90 for the second-highest single-season total at Bates. He is one shy of matching Gary Page '79 and Andy Carman '85 for the top spot. It was Bates' 27th homer of the season, the most since the Bobcats hit a school-record 31 round trippers in 1984.
