In the second game, the Bobcats struck first on a pair of two-run home runs, by Chisholm in the second and by sophomore leftfielder Jason Coulie (Manchester, N.H.) in the third to give Bates an early 4-0 lead. The Quakers got one run back in the third, but Penney answered with an RBI double in the top of the fourth. Guilford answered with three runs off Snow in the bottom of the fourth to close to 5-4.
