MIDDLEBURY, Vt. — The Bates College baseball team (2-17) was unable to pick up its second straight victory, falling 13-2 at Middlebury (9-9) today. Junior catcher Ben Donaldson (Lamoine, Maine) led the Bobcats with two hits, including a double, and an RBI. Senior lefty Kevin Walsh (Wakefield, Mass.) suffered the loss, allowing most of the Panthers' runs over the first six innings. Middlebury's Brian Hamm led the hosts' offensive charge, going 3-4 with four RBI and a double.
