The Bobcats scored five consecutive goals over two periods of play to take a commanding 7-1 lead to win their second game of the season. Bates took an early 2-0 lead after senior attack Tim Brady (Manchester, Mass.) scored with 5:45 left in the first quarter. Trinity broke through the Bobcat defense with just 0:04 left in the quarter, scoring on a man advantage. Bates then picked up the pace, outshooting the Bantams 32-26 on the day. Bates would dominate over the next two periods as they went up 7-1. They would hold on over the last period to win 7-4 over the Bantams. First-year student Mike D'Addario (Locust Valley, N.Y.) led the way for Bates by netting a game-high three goals, while classmate Dirk Huntington (Falls Church, Va.) stopped eight shots for the Bobcats.
