This year our goal is to make it to New England Regionals. In the past, Ultimate at Bates has been rather informal and low key. Our goal as a program is to raise the level at which we play without forgetting the atmosphere our program was founded upon.
Life at Bates while playing Ultimate:
Bates is a challenging academic institution. When we need a study break, we play Ultimate. Ultimate is an athletically stimulating activity for all of us, but it is also a chance for us to meet and connect with similar people on campus. Not to mention the Ultimate parties are SWEET!
When and where are practices?
In the fall, the men's and women's teams practice twice a week on Bardwell or the football field. We also do a track workout on one of our off days. In the winter, we practice in the Gray Cage or Merrill Gymnasium. Feel free to attend any of the practices whether you are a Bates student or not.
