Hunter Archibald, '12

“When I think about what we just did, I feel weird” said Hunter about a typical team bonding event. Archibald, Hunter might have the preppiest name many of us have ever heard, but when he trades his docksiders and jcrew critter shorts for dinghy boots and sailing gear, he can at least get around a racecourse. Hunter himself declared his disappointment about a preppy themed event, as from his point of view, “that isn’t even dressing up”. Hunter is originally from Annapolis, MD, but moved to West Newbury when he was three. There he sailed a Ranger 24, a laser, and a flying scot. Hunter is also the leading scorer on the Bates Sailing Soccer Squadron.
