David Pierce, '12

While David is one of the more reserved members of our team, he is also one of the more dedicated. As he puts it, he is “used to sailing owning his life”. And own his life it will, as despite not having any prerace strategy besides “win”, David so far has been able to stick with his game plan. At practice, that is. As far as regattas go, we are starting to think he is cursed. With one day of postponement and two cancelled regattas under his belt, David has yet to complete a full event.  But when he does, we anticipate he will win the start, be first to the windward mark, and never look back.
