Chris Calahan, '12

Being the third Chris on the team, Cal has lost the right to his first name. While this is rough, he can at least commiserate about it with CFan and D’Thay. Cal ran his first practice this week, which was going well until he realized that no one had put the stern plugs back into the powerboat after it was pulled for repairs. This combined with a “drifting” windward mark and a lack of an anchor made it one of our more unique practices of the season. In fact it was topped only by the day we did not have a powerboat at all and had to tow a rowboat out behind an FJ to run races. But we are nothing if not dedicated, and Cal is no exception.
