The small, landlocked village of Wellesley, MA, may have lost its noise ordinance officer to Bates, but we gained a valuable recruiting asset. Whether across the room or across campus, Ben’s soothing voice will surely relax all who hear it. Ben is something like a yachting Cal Ripken- he has a perfect attendance record at sailing safety meetings, always showing up on time. Ben is always super psyched about healing out the team, even when he has to make a 31/2 hour drive to Dartmouth for the pure joy of sailing.
