Despite being a raging chain smoker torn between her equine and nautical passions, Carolyn has never the less been a permanent fixture of Bates’ two-skipper traveling circus. Carolyn is a fierce aggressor on the water. Just ask anyone from UNH about Bates’ overly aggressive B skipper. They hate her tactics so much that they purposely hit her with their boats and booms on the course despite the obvious rules violations. But Carolyn doesn’t mind being disliked. Sitting in her upright riding position in the boat, she rises above the pettiness of her fellow sailors; when she isn’t coughing up a lung.
Carolyn is now a junior and graduated from Greenwich High School.
