Coast Guard/MIT 1/14: Ran a PR of 2:51 in the 1000 and ran 56 on the B 4 x 4 team. Coach Fresh later said about Viti in front of the team, "Will Viti still, as far as I'm concerned, is the best example of an athlete on our team that gets out there and 100% committed to his race every step of the way."

Tufts Invitational 1/21: Ran 2:52 in the 1000 and participated on the B 4 x 4 team again. Viti was disappointed with his race today, since it was a second slower than last week. But again, he was highly competitive and ran a great race, and passing lots of guys. One can tell by looking at him that any race now he is going to break away and tear apart the track.

USM Invitational 1/28: Ran a 2:10 800, finishing 11th out of 13 runners. Viti's goal going into the meet was to run under 2:10, and he was disappointed. Importantly, however, he has never run 2:10 before, so all was not lost. Nice job, Viti.

State of Maine Meet 2/4: Did not compete at this meet because he has been back home in Westwood, Mass all week with an illness. He did come to the meet to show support, however.

MIT Invitational 2/11: Viti won the first race of his life at this meet, running 2:52 in the 1000, beating a couple runners from Tufts in the process. It was great to see Viti cross that line first, taking the lead at the beginning and never relinquishing it.
