Radio isn't racing this indoor season due to coaching commitments at Sunday River in Maine. Radio goes to sleep damn early every Friday to wake up at 6am on Saturday and coach skiing all day. Though he is not competing he is present every weekday at practice doing the runs and track workouts. He will be back in outdoor and will certainly be in shape.

State of Maine Meet 2/4/06: After clearing it with his boss up at Sunday River and making some very serious personal moral decisions that resulted in many sleepless nights, Radio made his first appearance of the indoor season. Like Percy, he was put in the mile as backup to score some points. It must be said that Radio was crapping his pants the entire week in anticipation for this race. See, the mile isn't exactly his "specialty" and his PR is 4:45 that was done back in high school. So in the days prior to the race, Radio was out doing strides "at pace." Once it came time to race, he seemed ready. He ended up finishing 7th in 4:41, a lifetime PR. All that worrying for nothing! He was prepared to race in the 4 x 800 if he was needed, but ended up standing on the side, cheering the loudest out of any Bates athlete.
