Art Feely showed up to the first day of cross country practice at the end of August 2006.

We knew he taught at Edward Little, but that was about it. Coach Feely didn't say much those first

couple weeks. Soon enough, he became Farnsworth. Turns out Farnsworth had a lot to say and

really has quite a sense of humor. A graduate of Colby College and a phenomenal collegiate

distance runner, Farnsworth has been a great addition to Bates Running. His presence at workouts

and meets is invaluable and nicely supplements Todd.
