2005-06 Indoor Track Season

Coast Guard/MIT 1/14: Ran 9:58 in the 3k. This is Sauce's first season of indoor track ever - coming from southern California they just don't have it. That said, a 180m track is a pretty difficult way to start your first indoor race. Sauce said after the race, however, that he felt pretty good. He will most likely race the 5k next weekend at Tufts.

Tufts Invitational 1/21: Ran a PR of 16:42, which was a great race for Sauce. This past week he seemed to be struggling in a couple workouts and training runs, but it didn't appear to impact this race.

USM Invitational 1/28: Dillon was 6th out of 9 runners in the 3k, running 9:43 and improving by 15 seconds from his performance 2 weeks ago at Coast Guard.

State of Maine Meet 2/4: Ran 16:43 in a very stacked 5k, good enough for a 9th place finish. Although ambivalent about his performance at this meet, Dillon will have at least one more opportunity in the 5k at next week's MIT Invitational.

MIT Invitational 2/11: Dillon was 9th out of 20 runners this week in the 3k, equaling his PR set at USM two weeks ago (9:43).
