Festival Overview The festival will be held in Alumni Gymnasium at Bates College in Lewiston, ME (about 45 minutes north of Portland and 2.75 hours north of Boston) and run from 11am - 9pm. If you're interested in learning to juggle, improving your juggling, or just want to meet other jugglers from the area (and possibly beyond), this is an event that you MUST attend. It will feature free juggling time, workshops, competitions and a FREE performance at 7pm. Workshops The festival will feature a beginning juggling construction zone as well as workshops on contact juggling, diabolo, multiplexing, multiple person passing and a few more. A schedule of workshop times will be posted at the festival; the first workshop will begin at 12:00pm. If you'd be willing to teach a workshop, please let me know by sending an email to dberkley@bates.edu Performance The public show will start at 7:00pm in the Olin Arts building. It will feature TWO: High Energy Juggling, Fritz Grobe and Mike Miclon of The Odd Company, and club members, Dan Berkley and Brent McCoy. For more information on the performers check out their bios Raffle We will be holding a raffle to benefit the Oddfellow Theater in Buckfield, ME. This small, non-profit performance venue has entertained Mainers for years, but now faces financial trouble. Sponsors include Dube, Renegade Juggling, Red Dragon Toys, and Juggling Joe. If you'd like to donate something for the raffle, please send an email to bmccoy@bates.edu. Directions Bates is quite easy to find from I-495.
