Performing at the Festival

TWO is made up of brothers, Jason and Matthew Tardy, originally from Buckfield, Maine. Their performing career started as teen-agers when they presented some sketch comedy at a local community talent show. Since then, they have appeared at festivals and theaters across the country with such highlights as The RIT Juggling festival in Rochester New York and the Merrill Auditorium in Portland Maine. TWO has also appeared on local and national television such as WGME's Daybreak, PBS's True North and CBS SUNDAY MORNING with Charles Osgood. They have also been featured in Juggling Magazine. Fritz Grobe gained international recognition with the juggling and dance ensemble blink. He won a gold medal at the International Jugglers Championships in Las Vegas and set a world record for juggling 15 objects between two people. He has opened for John Mellencamp and performed at The Annoyance Theater in Chicago and at Circus Space in London. Currently, he is a member of The Odd Company, and can often be found helping out at the Oddfellow Theater

Mike Miclon, also known as The Standup Juggler, has brought his high energy antics to some of the finest theaters and special events around the world. Highlights include the Kennedy Center and the White House in Washington D.C., the Fiesta Americana in Naples, Italy, and the The Victoria Jungfrau Hotel in Interlaken, Switzerland. He is a resident of Buckfield, Maine, and operates the non-profit Oddfellow Theater. Awestruck Juggling is Bates CollegeÕs very own juggling duo, consisting of Brent McCoy and Dan Berkley. They have been throwing things in the air and at each other since their freshman year, and have performed at the Lewiston-Auburn Arts Festival, the Bates College Inaugural Coffeehouse, and the Benjamin Mays Center. Brent teaches juggling and balance for Circus Smirkus in Greensboro, Vermont, and Dan is currently applying to the San Francisco Clown Conservatory.
