Murray Elected To Play In Senior All-Star Game
LEWISTON, Maine -- Senior sweeper Tom Murray of Marshfield, Mass., has been selected to represent Bates College in the New England Intercollegiate Soccer League (NEISL) Senior All-Star Game.
The game features 66 top seniors from all three NCAA divisions selected by the organization's coaches. It will be played Nov. 24 at 11:30 a.m. at Springfield College.
Murray was a tri-captain of the 9-5-1 Bobcats' men's soccer team that reached the ECAC quarterfinals, Bates' first post-season berth in men's soccer since 1992. He is was the top defensive player on the team. Murray scored one goal this season and ends his Bates career with two goals and one assist for five points.
Murray is a 1993 graduate of Marshfield High School. His is the son of Thomas and Carol Murray of 106 Summer St., Marshfield.
