LEWISTON, Maine -- The Bates College Equestrian Club will hold its second annual horse show Nov. 9 at New Boston Farms in Gray. The competition will begin at 9 a.m. and last until approximately 3 p.m.

The Bobcats are one of 11 teams competing in this, the fourth show of the competitive equestrian season. They are currently ranked seventh in New England. The other teams participating this weekend are Boston University, Colby-Sawyer, Dartmouth, Endicott, Harvard, Mt. Ida College, Middlebury, New Hampshire, Tufts and Vermont. The jumping portion of the show will last from 9 a.m. to noon, followed by the flat portion from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Food and other concessions will be available.
