Bates College Choir to Perform

LEWISTON, Maine -- The Bates College Choir will present a series of concerts on March 22 and 23 at 8 p.m. and on March 24 at 2 p.m. in the Olin Arts Center Concert Hall. The public is invited to attend free of charge.

Under the direction of John Corrie, a member of the Bates music faculty, the choir will perform several unaccompanied motets by various Renaissance composers; three compositions by David Carpenter '94 and text by Emily Dickinson; and "The Requiem" by Gabriel Faure.

Soloists for the concerts wil be Marian Drake '99, soprano; John Shim '98, tenor; and Eric Cullenberg '96, baritone.
