Scope and Content Note

The collection is comprised of one bound volume of ink and watercolor drawings and associated captions illustrating the life and customs of Foochow (Fuzhou), China in the early twentieth century. The drawings were collected by Evelyn and Clement Sites, who served as Christian missionaries in China from at least 1901 to 1907. Also included is the original embroidered silk cover for the book.
