Scope and Content NoteThe collection is comprised of miscellaneous account books and other business records received from a vareity of sources and dating from the 18th-early 20th centuries. The collection includes two account books from small Maine towns, four books related to the sales and investments of the Bates Street Shirt Company in Lewiston, Maine, and a library association's account book.
