Courses in English were among the original academic offerings at Bates College from its founding. According to the College Catalog, the Department of English was not organized as such until around 1899.
This collection contains syllabi and reading lists for various English Department classes, as well as a program listing for the Fall 2008 Language Arts Live series.
Files are arranged alphabetically by folder title.
This collection is open for research.
