This collection contains brochures, flyers, and publications relating to the programs sponsored by and activities undertaken by the office of Special Projects and Summer Programs at Bates College. Also included are materials prepared for the Bates sesquicentennial celebration in 2005, which include digital video tapes, slides, and miniDV cassettes.

The collection is the physical property of Edmund S. Muskie Archives and Special Collections Library. Historical Note
The Office of Special Projects and Summer Programs administered various events and offerings at Bates that did not fall under the purview of other offices. The Office led programs for Bates students and from the non-Bates community. The Office was disbanded around 2005, and special programs are now administered through the Harward Center.
