Historical Note[From the Bates College Catalog] The principal charge of the Office of Career Services (OCS) is to help students become aware of their interests, skills, and values, and how these relate to the career possibilities available after graduation. The OCS complements academic advising efforts by providing a wealth of resources including career counseling, computerized career-interest testing, a library of career information, employment listings, access to thousands of alumni career advisors, and links to job and career information through the OCS web site.
