The most common plug-ins for streaming media are Real Player, QuickTime, and Windows Media Player. In addition to these, it is a good idea to download the Shockwave and Flash players. Many language tutorial sites use these plug-ins to display media content, such as animation, sound, and interactive exercises. When downloading the plug-ins, be sure to look for the free player, since many of these companies offer an enhanced version of the plug-in for a price. |
