Web development at Bates College is moving in new and exciting directions. With the increased need to track huge amounts of data and have up to the minute statistics and information, some of Bates web development is moving into a dynamic database driven model. For the majority of the upper tiers of Bates's web site, all pages will be developed using a program called CMS.

For all personal and small scale web site development, Bates will continue to support Macromedia's Dreamweaver.
