Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome to all new students and their families and to our
returning students. The information on our web site is current for students coming to Bates in Fall, 2008.
Since September, 2005, Bates has required that all students have the Cisco Clean Access Agent (CCAA)
client, current anti-virus software and current OS updates
and patches on their computer in order to access the network.
Sophos Anti-virus is available to all Bates students at
no charge and we provide full support for Sophos. Limited
support is available for other anti-virus programs. For
more information, please refer to the FAQ’s.
