Minimum Requirements for 2009.

Connecting an individual computer to a network requires compatibility between the computer and the network equipment. Bates College Information & Library Services (ILS) has identified standard equipment that is the minimum recommended configuration to allow for the use of current software available on the Bates network.

During your four years at Bates, hardware and software requirements may necessitate hardware upgrades.

* To access the Bates network, the current operating system updates must be installed. The use of Vista 64-bit is discouraged.
