Loaner Pool for Faculty/Staff
The loaner pool is intended to provide access to equipment that is not generally available on the campus. Loaner pool equipment is not to be used as a replacement for damaged equipment. Faculty and staff may call to reserve equipment in the loaner pool at any time. However, it is wise to make reservations as early as possible so that the availability of the equipment can be guaranteed. Faculty and staff requesting equipment may pick it up in the CTES office located in room G67 of Pettengill Hall during normal hours of operation. Since equipment in the loaner pool is limited, at the time of checkout we will set a date for its return. The maximum amount of time a piece of equipment can be loaned out is 5 days, unless there are extenuating circumstances, determined on a case-by-case basis. We provide and encourage training on the equipment in the loaner pool. If you have never used a particular piece of equipment, or you feel you need additional training, we will schedule a time for you to receive the training.
