IT’S A SNAP TO NETWORK YOUR COMPUTER!
In order for your computer to be connected to the Bates local area network and the Internet, you need to have an Ethernet network card in your computer. Once the card is installed, networking your computer is a simple process.

Step 1: Get your Bates username and password.

Step 2: connect to the network and automatically register the network address of your computer.

- If your computer did not come with a network card, you may purchase one at Computer Sales & Service, 110 Russell Street, and a technician will install the card and network the computer for you.

- If you have a desktop computer, please bring just the CPU. If you have a laptop, bring the computer and the A/C power adapter.

- If you cannot network the computer yourself, call the Help Desk, x8222 for assistance.
