are the ONLY networked printers that students should
be printing
to from their dorm rooms or the campus computing labs.
NOTE:
Printing to any other printer will make your printout unavailable.

From the Print Center--
(Applications: Utilities or on the
Dock)
Click Add printer
Choose Apple Talk
Choose AppleTalk Network
Double click Coram
--for Ladd IR
Double click Pettengill
--for Pettengill 227, 329
Double click to select a Printer
Open the file you wish to print
From File Menu--
Go to Page Setup
Select paper size and orientation
From File Menu--
Go to Print
Under the Duplex pop-up menu
--choose print both sides for duplex

Go to the Start Menu
Select Run...
At the Open prompt, type \\China
Click OK
Note: If you are not logged
into the network, access to China will prompt
for a username and password. Type in: \\BCIS\username followed
by your password.
China window will open
Double click the Printer to Add
--Ladd Ref 1, Ladd Ref 2, Ladd IR
--Pettengill 227, 329
From File Menu--
Go to Print
Be sure the correct printer is selected

Go to the Chooser
Choose LaserWriter 8
Choose Coram AppleTalk Zone
--for Ladd IR
Choose Pettengill AppleTalk Zone
--for Pettengill 227, 329
Select the Printer from the menu on the right.
Click OK
Open the file you wish to print
From File Menu--
Go to Page Setup
Select paper size and orientation
From File Menu--
Go to Print
Be sure the correct printer is selected
Under the General pop-up menu
Select Layout
--choose print both sides for duplex

- Send print jobs responsibly
- Duplex when possible
- Go immediately to retrieve your job
- Dont print multiple copies; use
the photocopiers
- If your print job is greater than 20
pages, print it in sections, so as to
not monopolize a printer and to ensure
speed and reliability
