Thunderbird is one of the supported e-mail program at Bates College. Thunderbird compliments Information and Library Services desire to have the campus using a safe, secure, robust program capable of handling IMAP'd accounts.

It is very customizable, and also has features currently not available in Bates Webmail, our other supported e-mail program.

Help Desk Services is pleased to assist all users with the installation, conversion from other e-mail programs, and other processes for making this your default e-mail application.

Click the BLive button. BLive is a web-based collaboration tool that allows you to chat and share desktops with a Member of the Help Desk Services Team. Internet Explorer (version 6.0+) is required.

 

Users may apply upgrades to Thunderbird as the program prompts for them to be applied. Restarting the application may be necessary for the upgrade to be completed.
