Bates students now must have the Cisco
Clean Access Agent (CCAA) software in order to access the Bates
network - wired or wireless.
To successfully register your computer, you'll
need 3 things:
- Current anti-virus software
(Sophos,
Norton or McAfee) installed and up-to-date.
- A current operating system with patches
and updates installed.
- Windows Automatic
Updates configured to: "Automatically download recommended updates for
your computer and install them."
If these requirements are not satisfied, you will not be
able to access the Bates network.

The complete version of Sophos Anti-Virus is available free to all Bates students, staff and faculty. Just click the Windows or Macintosh icon below.
