Scholarship Information and Form

Merit Scholarship

The Festival awards a limited number of full and partial-tuition scholarships to dancers with financial need who demonstrate a high level of commitment, creativity and technical/performance ability. Room and meals costs are the responsibility of the student. Application materials will be reviewed by a panel of dance professionals. 

Maine Scholarship

A limited number of partial-tuition scholarships are available to Maine students with demonstrated financial need and a commitment to serious dance study. Applicants must be full-time residents of Maine.

To Apply

Applicants may apply in one category only and must submit:

1. program application form and $95 fee (students are strongly encouraged to send this application form in early to insure placement)
2. scholarship application form and all required support materials.

All scholarship materials, including letters of recommendation, must be mailed under one cover and be received by April 7.  Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Notifications will be mailed by April 30.
