3 Week Professional Training ProgramScholarship & Fellowship Information and Form**Deadline April 7 (receipt date)Scholarships Merit ScholarshipThe Festival awards a limited number of full and partial-tuition scholarships to dancers with financial need who demonstrate a high level of commitment, creativity and technical/performance ability. Room and board costs are the responsibility of the student n most cases. Application materials will be reviewed by a panel of dance professionals.
Maine ScholarshipA limited number of partial-tuition scholarships are available to Maine students with demonstrated financial need and a commitment to serious dance study. Applicants must be full-time residents of Maine.
Work/Study ScholarshipsA range of work/study scholarships are available to qualified students that cover partial to full tuition. Awards are made on the basis of demonstrated financial need, and relevant skills and work references. Applicants with documented skills/experience in technical production, video, house management, box office, administration, graphic design, sales and resident supervision will assist with the day-to-day operation of the Festival. All work/study students are required to live on campus and may be asked to take fewer than four classes and arrive early for set up. All scholarship materials, including letters of recommendation, must be mailed under one cover and be received by April 7 . Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Notifications will be mailed by April 30. Fellowships**Deadline April 7Dance Educator’s FellowshipThe Festival will offer up to eight full fellowships (tuition, housing & meals) to experienced dance educators currently teaching dance to grades 9-12 in U.S. performing arts high schools. Applicants must enroll full-time (4 courses) and register for the Teacher’s Toolkit class. To Apply Applicants must submit the required program application materials along with a resume of related work experience and a one-page letter articulating their interest in dance education and how this fellowship will support their goals.
