1999 CASE Bronze Medal Award
The Bates College Chaplain's web site received the prestigious Council for the Advancement and Support of Education's (CASE) Bronze medal award in the World Wide Web site category.

iCollege Virtual Tour Award
Our online tour won this award, which is given to fewer than 10 percent of online tours by iCollege, Inc. (formerly College Enterprises, Inc.).

1996 CASE Gold Medal Award
The Bates web site received one of just two Gold Medal Awards for Web design presented nationally in 1996 by the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). "Effective sites proved to be graphically interesting but uncluttered, easy to use, and with a depth of accessible information behind the pretty face of the home page. Bates College does all of this particularly well," said CURRENTS, the CASE magazine.

1996 UCDA Silver Award
The judges of the 1996 University and College Designers Association (UCDA) WWW Design Competition also recognized the Bates web site with an award. The judges evaluated over 40 entries and awarded the Bates site one of two Silver awards, the top UCDA honor for 1996.

1996 Magellan Four Star Award
The Magellan Internet Guide reviewers awarded the Bates web site four stars -- their highest award. In addition to indexing thousands of web sites, Magellan reviews and rates hundreds of sites on the net according to their depth, ease of use, and appeal.
