• There was no set agenda for February's meeting.  Chris lee began the meeting by reviewing some written comments from the Staff Opinion Survey.  He informed us that there was a 60% respond rate which is an extremely good percentage of participation.

• The upcoming Employee Recognition Luncheon was briefly discussed.

• There was a letter from the racquetball group who are enjoying the use of the gym.  They were inquiring if there would be any possibility that the gym could maintain the same operating hours during break weeks as they are when classes are in session.  Carol Carpentier (Athletics Department) stated that is a commonly asked question.  One of the problems is with staffing -- it is difficult to staff the gym with students when classes are in session; to do so during break weeks would be nearly impossible as well as very costly.  This Committee hopes that the racquetball group are able to arrange their schedules so as to continue their physical activities and we applaud their conscious effort to forming this group and their commitment to physical fitness.
