Martin Luther King Jr.
In order for evil to

nothing.
Edmund Burke
Matthew Hale and the organization formerly known as "The "World
Church of the Creator" plans to hold a rally in Lewiston on January
11, 2003. The "National Alliance" has also been leafleting and
recruiting in the Lewiston/Auburn area. This page offers information
to members of the Bates College community who wish to find out more
about these groups and who may wish to respond to this group's
presence in our community.
What the
organization formerly known as the "WCOTC" says about itself
Hale and his associates recently lost a trademark lawsuit over the
right to use the name "World Church of the Creator. Hale, in fact, has been
order to appear before a judge in Chicago on January 8, 2003 to explain why
he should not be held in contempt for failing to obey the judge's order in this
lawsuit. In deference to the Court's decision, we are refering to Hale's group
as "the organization formerly known as the "WCOTC" age.
