Pre-Departure Planning
I've been accepted...what now?...how do I begin planning for my time abroad?
Your study abroad university or program will provide you with much of the information that you need to ensure a smooth transition abroad. In addition, there are many Bates resources available to help you with pre-departure planning: returned students and their written evaluations, faculty, and the Off-Campus Study staff.
