Concept Review: Chapter Three introduces the Second Declension Masculine endings for nouns and adjectives. Remember for all nouns and adjectives there are six cases introduced in the previous chapter. Most of the Second Declension Masculine nouns end in -us, but several do end in -er. Remember adjectives in Latin, like English, modify a noun. To modify a noun, the adjective must agree with the gender, number, and case of the noun. For further references of forms please refer to pages 17-18 or page 447 in your Wheelock textbook. |
