Eli C. Minkoff, Ph.D.
PROFESSOR EMERITUS

Dr. Minkoff received his bachelor's degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Columbia
University and his M.A. and Ph.D. from Harvard University.
A member of Phi Beta Kappa and member for many years of the Society for the Study of Evolution,
Dr. Minkoff has distinguished himself
as the author of many books, encyclopedic reference works, and articles in scholarly journals.
Dr. Minkoff has taught science at the college level for many years,
mostly as a professor (with tenure) at Bates College in Maine. He has also taught
part time at the University of Southern Maine, University of Maine at Augusta,
Harvard University, and Northeastern University.
His courses have included biology, chemistry, computer science,
paleontology, statistics, and various advanced subjects
in each of these fields.
Dr. Minkoff now teaches at Worcester State University as an adjunct professor. Although he occasionally
teaches other courses (on Primates, Human Body, Aging, etc.), he most often
teaches Biology 101 (Concepts of Biology).
