CLASS EXPECTATIONS
GENERAL COURSE PROCEDURES:
- We will meet twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Mornings will be devoted largely to lectures and visual presentations.
Afternoon labs will begin at 1:00; ending time will vary.
- Tests and quizzes will be announced in advance.
Please check the schedule for specifics.
- Students are expected to read online postings as often as class meets,
ESPECIALLY IF THEY WERE ABSENT.
ALL STUDENTS WILL BE EXPECTED:
- To come each day mentally and intellectually prepared for work.
- To work hard and do their best.
- To read the textbook and other course materials carefully and thoroughly,
with the aim of learning the material.
There is usually no need to bring the book to class.
- To ask for assistance when they need it. (Extra help can be arranged.)
- To enjoy learning new skills.
- To develop new and increased understanding of the human body.
- To become familiar with the web pages posted for this class.
- To check the course web pages frequently for any assignments, notices, or schedule changes;
ESPECIALLY DURING ANY ABSENCE FROM SCHOOL.
- To e-mail me with any questions, concerns, or special needs.
- To cooperate with other students in an environment of mutual learning and mutual respect.
- To treat their fellow students and teachers with respect.
- To treat school property and other private property with respect.
- To observe all safety rules.
ALSO:- You may wish to obtain a good set of colored pencils; certain topics can best be shown in color.
- Most important: you also need an alert mind, focused on learning, not sleep-deprived
or impaired in any other way.
