Cornell Law School/Legal Information Institute
Best legal information starting point. Includes all law topics. Search constitutions and codes, court opinions, federal and state law, laws from around world, and global law. Search U.S. Code, Code of Federal Regulations and U.S. Constitution.

Find Law: Internet Legal Resources
Another great place to begin legal research on the web. Powerful guide to U.S. case law, law codes, law review articles, legal news, etc. Links to state and international law. Easy to use. Full text of Supreme Court Decisions from 1893 to present.

Guide to the Law Online
The site consists of four main areas: the US, Nations, International and Multinational, and subjects.

American Law Sources Online (ALSO)
Comprehensive compilation of links to American law. 3 main divisions - law sources, commentary, and practice. Links to legal systems of US, Canada, and Mexico. Search Supreme Court Decisions, links to US Law Review and Periodicals, and legal research works.

Law Library of Congress
Online database to national laws of 35+ countries. Searchable legal abstracts in English of laws and regulations enacted since 1976. Guide to Law Online links to the most useful and reliable sites for legal information worldwide.

Hieros Gamos
Easy to search starting point for law and government. Detailed coverage of state resources. Has search engine for entire site.

Washlaw Web
Another way to get to state resources. Contains circuit court opinions. Pull-down menu of links to many law resources.

Roman Law Resources
Provides access to ancient law and includes text and literature, and a Directory of Historians of Ancient Law.

Avalon Project
Digital documents in law, politics, diplomacy and government. Begins with pre-18th Century Documents to 21st Century.
