- Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP) administered by the Government Printing Office, Office of
the Public Printer.
- Make government publications available for free use to general public and provide open access to all.
- Are Congressionally designated according to Congressional Distrcits (2nd Congressional District for
Ladd).
- Remain property of U.S. government.
- Discarding disposal:
- Must retain 5 years from date of receipt.
- Must offer to other depositories within state.
- Need permission to discard from regional depository (UMO)
- Select from remaining publications to offer to other depositories nationally.
