  • Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP) administered by the Government Printing Office, Office of the Public Printer.
  • Make government publications available for free use to general public and provide open access to all.
  • Are Congressionally designated according to Congressional Distrcits (2nd Congressional District for Ladd).
  • Remain property of U.S. government.
  • Discarding disposal:
    • Must retain 5 years from date of receipt.
    • Must offer to other depositories within state.
    • Need permission to discard from regional depository (UMO)
    • Select from remaining publications to offer to other depositories nationally.
