Scope and Content Note

The collection contains scrapbooks compiled primarily by students during their college years at Bates. Other scrapbooks were compiled by faculty members or people with Bates connections. While most of the albums illustrate student life others focus on Bates athletics or events such as Mayoralty. The scrapbooks contain a variety of material including photographs, news clippings, programs, and ephemera.
