There is a striking difference in priorities between Bates student and
Bates faculty responses which is similiar, to some degree, to the difference
seen between all students and faculty who took this survey in 2003.
Students give higher preference to self-sufficiency and access to resources,
whereas faculty, particularly so here, give highest preference to aspects
of staff service.
