Overdue Notices Overdue notices are sent only as a courtesy. Bates patrons are notified by e-mail; others are notified by U.S. mail. The library does not assume responsibility for the non-receipt of notices. Check the Overdue Notices in the "material-specific policies" link which will indicate when overdue notices are sent, which overdue notice is the bill, and the non-refundable billing fee.
