FY League
The
First Year (FYL) Intramural League was established specifically for first-year
students, junior advisors and faculty
advisors. First Year students are encouraged
to organize a team with their FY Center members and compete against other FY Centers
in league games.
The Fall Semester league is Volleyball while the Winter Semester League is Indoor Soccer. The league plays games every Wednesday night throughout the semester, culminating with a tournament in which the championship team will receive FYL League t-shirts with their team name printed on the back. Team registration is located on the IM website, along with the rules, game schedules and results.
Participants are encouraged to hang around following their games to enjoy pizza and drinks while socializing with other teams. This league provides first-year students an opportunity to meet and engage members of their class in a friendly, social environment.
