The Bobcats faced three teams ranked in New England by the NCAA. They defeated No. 4 Wheaton in four games for Graef's 400th win, while losing to No. 2 Wellesley (No. 21 nationally) and No. 6 Williams. The win over Wheaton came after the Bobcats dropped the first game, 15-11.

Junior Amanda Colby (Willimantic, Conn.) led the squad with 42 kills (3.2 kpg), while sophomore setter Kate Hagstrom (Portola, Calif.) had 104 assists in 13 games (8 apg).
