Colby defeated Gordon for second place, 15-11, 15-11, 15-10.

The Bobcats were led by junior middle hitter Amanda Colby (Willimantic, Conn.), who had 30 kills in seven games. Colby was ranked third in the nation in hitting percentage in the most recent NCAA Division III statistical rankings. Sophomore setter Kate Hagstrom (Portola, Calif.) remained solid, with 65 assists. Junior outside hitter Carly Dell'Ova (Derry, N.H.) had 15 digs.

The two wins give coach Marsha Graef 397 for her career. The Bobcats have a match at the University of New England on Wednesday evening and a tournament at MIT next weekend.
